About Jenna Castellano

Movies have always been a safe space for me. Having spent my childhood getting lost in the silver screen, it only made sense that I develop a passion for making my own.

When I was younger, I was afraid of everything. My anxiety stopped me from taking chances, which I often regretted later. However, the world of film opened my eyes to the expanse beyond the cushy farm town in which I grew up (as much as I may love it dearly) and showed me that it was simply not worth missing out on.

In my adult life, I have made an active effort to push myself creatively and mentally, exposing myself to all that the world has to offer, despite my anxiety, and taking chances that little me would have otherwise avoided.

Pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Film Production as an international student at Arts University Bournemouth and solo travelling Europe during my time there was (hopefully) just the beginning.

Through seeing the world, I have grown as an artist and as an individual.

Why 'Rolling Rockstar Media'?

Rosie 'Rolling Rockstar' was my childhood dog. From ages 5 to 19, Rosie was the safe space I could always look to when I was feeling anxious or afraid. To pursue my dreams of making films, I've had to push my limits and venture far outside my comfort zone, away from Rosie and home. So to put it simply, naming this 'production company' after Rosie is not just a way to honor her and her memory, but to bring a piece of home wherever my career takes me.
